South Central Indiana
For the purposes of this web site, South Central Indiana consists of an eleven county region which includes Monroe, Brown, Bartholomew, Lawrence, Jackson, Orange, Washington, Perry, Crawford, Harrison and Floyd counties. This portion of the state contains some of the prettiest topography of the state, from the rolling hills of Brown County to the scenic Ohio River vistas of Crawford Counties.
A larg portion of the region is included in the huge Hoosier National Forest. There are several Indiana State Parks, lakes and state recreational facilities here which allow users to fish, hunt, hike, camp and many other outdoor activities.
