Southeast Indiana
Southeastern Indiana, for the purposes of this web site, consists of the ten counties named Franklin, Decatur, Jennings, Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, Scott, Jefferson and Clark Counties. The region borders the state of Ohio on the east and the Ohio River to the south.
Five of the counties, Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, Jefferson and Clark have extensive access to the Ohio River. Interstate 74 crosses Dearborn, Ripey, Franklin and Decatur counties in the north, Interstate 65 accesses Clark and Scott Counties in the west. US 50 connects Dearborn, Ripley and Jennings counties. US 421 runs south to north, connecting Jefferson, Ripley, and Decatur counties.
